Okay, so today my school held the outstanding acheivement award ceremony. So for each subject a select few people get an award. The subjects are Math, English, Earth Science, Physical Education, Orchestra/Band/Chorus (I'm in Orchestra), Art, Social Studies and Spanish/French (I'm in Spanish). So they call you up to the stage so you can collect your award. When they mail you the letter saying that you got an award, they never tell you what subject you got it for. I expected I got one for Art. I was right, but I wasn't too excited about getting it. I mean I don't mind getting the award- in fact I love getting the Art Award. Its just that, that was the 6th year in a row that I've gotten it.
3rd Grade: Art Award for best in class.
4th Grade: Art Award for best in class.
5th Grade: Art Award for best in class.
6th Grade: Art Award/Trophy for best in grade.
7th Grade: Art Outstanding Acheivement Award.
8th Grade: Art Outstanding Acheivement Award.
Just for once I wouldn't mind getting it for somesort of academic subject such as Spanish. And I feel like my parents are disappointed with me when I get an award for Art. They just never seem that excited when I get one. Even when I got my first one in 3rd grade they were never that excited. They only one who seemed to be impressed that I got an Art Award was my Spanish teacher. She knows that I'm good at Art and she think I should persue it as my career in the future but I'm sticking with a Meterologist or Stormchaser. But she is my favorite teacher because she knows what I like to do and what I hate. I just hate that she teaches my least favorite subject. Oh well I just hope my parents are proud of my 6th art award. They were proud of my friend getting THREE ACADEMIC awards! But I don't care I just LOVE Art!
